AAIA ANAPHYLAXIS REFERENCE KIT
| |
The Allergy / Asthma Information Association’s Anaphylaxis Reference Kit is an educational tool designed to improve the management of anaphylaxis. Medically reviewed by the Canadian Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (CSACI), it deals with the causes, triggers, symptoms of anaphylaxis, its treatment, and emergency procedures. It also contains tips that are very useful for schools and other childcare environments. The kit is available in English and French and comes complete with a book of Speaker’s Notes and a set of overheads for use with an overhead projector. A PowerPoint version on CD is also available.
To complete your kit, order the EpiPen® trainer: a valuable training tool for family members, school personnel, patients and people with allergies. This will allow you to practice your technique. The trainer contains neither medication nor needle.
