- 1. Increased and sustainable funding for public education through:
- eliminating any future requirements that boards match funds to receive grants (Resolution 14)
- a fully funded, expanded mandate (Resolution 15) and sufficient funds for students to participate in educational programs without costs or stigma (Resolution 16)
- funding for Climate Action and Carbon Neutral initiatives (Resolution 17)
- a revised and increased funding formula that corrects structural deficits (Resolution 18)
- funding school districts to at least 99 per cent of the previous year’s total funding amount, excluding any labour settlement funding (Resolution 19)
- funding to eliminate transportation related shortfalls within districts (Resolution L29)
- revisions to existing capital plan submission requirements (Resolution L30)

2. Improved school district staffing and infrastructure through:
- teacher education that includes mandatory training and strategies for working with students with special needs (Resolutions 10 & 11)
- changes to existing legislation related to School Planning Councils to ensure equitable representation from all partner groups (Resolution 12)
- a streamlined process to provide teaching credentials to technology and trades teachers (Resolution 13)
- the adoption of the Building Owners and Managers Association standards for long-term maintenance with an appropriate increase in the Annual Facilities Grant (Resolution 20)
- recognition of elected officials as “workers” under the Workers Compensation Act (Resolution L31)

3. Enhanced student well-being through:
- the elimination of child poverty (Resolution 2)
- school districts to receive formal notification of, and be included in consultations related to, applications for new or expanded gravel pit operations in school areas (Resolution 21)
- a long-term plan and funding to complete seismic mitigation by 2020 (Resolution 22)
- a review of research on the effects of long-term exposure to high-voltage lines on the health of students (Resolution 23)
- improvement to maintenance of roads used by school buses (Resolution 24)
- safe drinking water in BC schools (Resolution 25)
- 4. Effective learning programs and services through:
- the use of the Early Development Index (EDI) when developing priorities for the expansion of full-day Kindergarten (Resolution 3)
- access to federal infrastructure funds to assist with renovation of space for early learning programs (Resolution 4)
- a review of all Ministry-mandated district performance assessment and accountability measures (Resolution 5)
- a long-term solution to resolve current problems regarding Foundation Skills Testing (Resolution 6)
- increased flexibility, shared resources and funding to address the needs of children in care (Resolution 8)
- a review and revision of the special needs assessment criteria (Resolution 9)
