New BCSTA Director of Communications

I am pleased to announce the appointment of our new Director of Communications, Carolyn Warner.

Carolyn, a graduate of the Communications Studies, Bachelor of Arts program at Simon Fraser, will bring to us an impressive background in both the print and broadcast media. Most recently she held the position as Senior Consultant, Media Relations at the Fraser Health Authority in Surrey. Carolyn’s considerable experience in media relations, issues management, communications strategy and writing is an ideal background for her new role at BCSTA.

Carolyn will join us Monday, April 28. This start date allows her to be of immediate assistance to our next President and Board of Directors.

I am confident that our new Director of Communications will quickly apply her considerable experience and skills to the development and implementation of communications strategies that support the advocacy work of BCSTA.
