BCSTA helps boards of education minimize their legal costs − and avoid legal problems − while fulfilling their educational mandate by advising our membership of legal and legislative developments.

BCSTA provides member trustees:

• Written legal and policy advice to boards of education on matters of province-wide concern.
• Summary advice, on request, to assist boards to avoid legal problems.
• Access to relevant resources through a databank of opinions and decisions.
