All the world's a mobile stage

To improve on existing fine arts and youth activities, the communities of Ashcroft, Cache Creek, Clinton, Lillooet and Lytton partnered with the Gold Trail Board of Education to create the landmark, innovative mobile stage system.

The mobile stage system, equipped with sound and lighting equipment, would move between the regions enabling local schools, communities and organizations (including aboriginal communities) to use the stage.  The stage would foster community connections through the production and viewing of local theatrical, musical or cultural events. 

The project has recently been granted funding and will begin shortly.
