| Prince Rupert SD 52 |
Based upon a survey of Port Edward residents in January 2009, it was decided that this SCC funding would best be used toward the creation of a satellite of the Prince Rupert Library, housed in an unused classroom at Port Edward Elementary. The classroom is being refurbished for school and community use. |
| Prince George SD 57 |
Mackenzie Public Library will now receive community-oriented resources in its section on school education. The resources will include information on topics as diverse as healthy eating and lifestyle, bullying, and math skills. |
| Gulf Islands SD 64 |
School District No. 64 will use this grant money for the 'Living Links through the Gulf Islands' initiative. The project will create a mentorship skills database that can link people in the community with particular skills to students who would be interested in acquiring those skills. The database will be located at the Gulf Islands Secondary School library. |

The Mission Literacy B.U.S. (Building United Services) is a joint project that will address access barriers by delivering library services, adult tutoring, homework assistance, ESL classes and computer access to schools and community facilities throughout the region. |
| Fraser-Cascade SD 78 |
Literacy has been identified by the Community as a priority; this project will fund literacy enhancements at the Secondary level, to improve literacy skills, Aboriginal student achievement, and better prepare students for post-secondary. |
