"My children inspired me to run. One has minor special needs but needs a lot of support and it gets harder to support these kids at home as they get older. I quickly realized that there were a lot of kids in the same situation. It’s all about the kids, for me. Everyone knows health care costs a lot, but it costs money to educate our kids, too. Our job is to make sure others understand what we need to support kids."
